MEET THE GEARFEST HOSTS
Cali-born, DMV raised, Jazmyn has enjoyed the entertainment tastes of both coasts. Though she’s assisted in planning special events from high school dances to pep rallies, baby showers to Beverly Hills weddings, her dream is to produce red carpet events on par with the Grammy Awards and Wintour’s Met Gala. Holding a position on the Executive Board of USC’s Black Student Assembly has been a highlight of Jazmyn’s near-five years at the university. With a first love in music and a marriage with event production, she has been honored to join the two in producing a revolutionary event such as Gearfest, where she has had the opportunity to incorporate her passion for the Culture and her pride in the black community she calls family. Claiming Gearfest as a part of her legacy at USC, she looks forward to graduating in May and launching her career in the fast-paced, challenging, yet incredibly gratifying, field of special events production.
